Our Sewing Programs
STITCHING LIVES TOGETHER - A Sewing Collective Residency
Our seminal model for the sewing programs: STITCHING LIVES TOGETHER. This residency model develops and improves women’s sewing skills using mentorship relationships with experienced talents in sewing, dress making, quilting, weaving and textile art. The participants commit to a sewing residency of six to eight months to complete a project.
STITCHING LIVES TOGETHER - Community “Learn To Sew” Sewing Collectives
STITCHING LIVES TOGETHER - Community “Refashion-Repair-Repurpose-Recycle”
These programs provide free bi-monthly classes of beginning and immediate sewing classes to learn, expand or improve sewing skills, at home virtually and in-person. This program is rooted in community and seeks to serve underrepresented and underserved communities.
